Extension of Tenure for
Additional Judges of the High Court of Chahattisgarh
In the High Court of Chhattisgarh, the
tenure of Additional Judges Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra and Shri Manindra Mohan
Shrivastava has been extended from 10th December 2013 for a period of 2 more
years. The President has issued a Notification to this effect in exercise of
the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 2224 of the Constitution of
India.

Appointment of Judges in
the High Court of Karnataka
In exercise of the powers conferred by
clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President has
appointed (i) Shri Justice Bijoor Manohar, (ii) Shri Justice Hosahalli
Sheshadri Kempanna, and (iii) Smt. Justice Bangalore Shamachar Indrakala,
Additional Judges of the High Court of Karnataka, to be Judges of that High
Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their office.

Smt. Justice R.
Banumathi Appointed as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court
In exercise of the powers conferred by
clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President has
appointed Smt. Justice R. Banumathi, Judge of the Madras High Court, as the
Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court with effect from the date she assumes
charge of her office.
