Transferred to the Madras High Court
In exercise of the powers conferred by
clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after
consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has transferred Shri Justice
Satish Kumar Agnihotri, Judge of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, to the Madras
High Court and has directed him to assume charge of his office in the Madras
High Court on or before 3rd October, 2013.

Appointment
of Judges in The High Court of Andhra Pradesh
In exercise of the powers conferred by
clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President has
appointed Shri Asapu Ramalingeswara Rao and Shri Dama Seshadri Naidu as
Additional Judges of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, in that order of
seniority, for a period of two years from the date they assume charge of their
office.

Chief Justice of The High Court of Meghalaya
Appointed
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217
of the Constitution of India, the President has appointed Shri Justice Prafulla
Chandra Pant, Judge of the High Court of Uttarakhand, as the Chief Justice of
the High Court of Meghalaya with effect from the date he assumes charge of his
office.
