IALL Internship Grant 2011

Are you interested in gaining experience at leading law libraries overseas by  undertaking an internship, unpaid fellowship, or extended visit to a law library outside your own country?  If you are interested, but not able to afford to participate in such an experience, the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL) offers a grant of up to US $3,000.00 each year to one person to enable the person to undertake an internship, placement, unpaid fellowship or extended visit of no more than 2 months.  You do not have to be a member of the IALL to be considered.

Before applying, please review the  IALL internship requirements at http://www.iall.org/internships.html to see if you and your internship or placement meet IALL's Selection Criteria.

TimetableApplications should be submitted to the Chair of the IALL Scholarships Committee by the last day of April for internships starting no earlier than September of that same year, and no later than September of the following year.  The Grants will be paid when the programme and dates of internship have been finalized (in advance of travel). After 30th September in the year following the award, the grant will expire and no monies will be paid.
