The Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill, 2010 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on December 1, 2010. The bill is referred to the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice. The Committee has decided to invite memoranda containing views/suggestions from the individuals/ organizations interested in the subject matter of the Bill and also to hear select oral evidence on the subject matter of the Bill. The Bill is published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part I Section 2, dated December 1, 2010.
