The Himachal Pradesh High Court Public Interest Litigation Rules, 2010 are framed in exercise of the powers conferred under Article 229 of the Constitution of India on the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh and all other enabling powers vested on him in this behalf with a view to preserve the purity and sanctity of Public Interest Litigation and also to keep check on frivolous letter/petitions.
