The Delhi High Court (Public Interest Litigation) Rules, 2010 are framed in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of the Delhi High Court Act, 1996 (ActNo.26 of 1966) and all other powers enabling it, and in accordance with the order dated 18.1.2010 of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal NO.1134-113512002 titled "State of Uttaranchal Vs. Shri Balwant Singh Chaufla", with respect to Practice & Procedure for the Exercise of Jurisdiction under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India pertaining to Public Interest Litigation.
